TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Special thanks to my bf and prolific proofreader, Dan for certifying all of 5,237 words within in these 5 pages. There. I kept a sentence within the “20 word maximum”. :)
Invite
For clarification you will not be drawing clothes for my dress up games(Kimi, Peaches etc. but you can freely make your own games as you choose.
If you were invited as an illustrator, you don’t have to say yes or no immediately. We only invite a handful of people to join at a time to keep coordination manageable. The Kyascu team consists of two people, Marie, the lead art, game designer, admin and person who likely invited you, and Alvin, the programmer in charge of bringing the designs to life.
If you decide to join as an illustrator, you can make whatever sets you like, whenever. There are no other responsibilities aside from what is listed in the guidelines. The artist also has the choice of platform: web-only, mobile-only, or both.
We are not currently looking for permanent members of the team. Although if you want to offer more than just art, then you can contact us via:

Why were you invited?
Since this is a private link and you’re reading this, chances are you were invited by me, Marie, to join us in making games. Generally, there are a few reasons that will ring true to every single person that’s been invited:
At least 1 type of art style that was drawn consistently multiple times
Multiple instances of stylistic clothing illustration
Outline, highlight and shading consistency
Balanced use of colour
Orthogonal angle when drawing bodies (but not all the time)
Interesting fashion choices
I would really want to play your game if it was real!
Why draw with us?
We’re new to the scene of gaming. We only officially launched as of mid-march and even with a bare bones marketing budget we have a good number of players per day. We are yet to start a full marketing campaign as we’re still developing our mobile version, which is expected to be released in mid-2022.
We are a small team but we are very dedicated in making this work. There has been a lot of set-backs and rejections throughout our journey so far, but we know there is a large undervalued - and often dismissed - market out there for Fashion games. And we are committed to creating that Fashion game the fans deserve.
I’ve been obsessed with fashion for fun my whole life. Dolls, playing makeovers, fancy dress parties were all highlights of my life. I love how different we can look depending on what we wear. I think it’s fun. I started this with me being the only artist but by no means was this my goal. If I invited you to be a Stylized Illustrator that means I probably love your artwork so much I just can’t wait to play it. I have number to back me up saying that a lot of people feel the same way that I do too. - Marie

Guidelines
Reading through these pages might be intimidating because of the amount of information but this is only because we strived to make a template that can accomodate the artist’s intent. You can make your game as simple or as complex as you want it to be.
Stylized Fashion Game welcomes digital illustrators of any background and art style to join the team and create their own Fashion Game, as long as they:
Are 16 years or older
Old artworks can be used as assets and are even encouraged if they are strongly tied to your branding.
Are able to deliver a consistent aesthetic throughout a set, including:
linework
shading style
default proportions
Are willing to explore different types of clothing styles if they choose to draw more than one set. (This applies if it is a traditional dress-up game)
Draw at least 30 items per set.
Do not use copyrighted imagery on the designs such as existing logos.
You may use copyrighted imagery if you have explicit written permission from the copyright owner.
Note: Disney is notorious with this and I have personally been hit in this lifetime by the mouse even if it's considered fair use. Tread carefully.
Avoid creating content that may be considered not suitable for viewing by some audiences, such as nudity, blood, guns, alcohol, drugs, violence, adult language, and other similar themes.
Each finished set may be subject to a few changes (by kyascu or the original artist) if there are some items that do not meet the guidelines.
The game(s) will be playable on the kyascu.com website and then released as a mobile game in the future.
The game(s) will remain there indefinitely unless the artist has:
Publicly participated in hateful activity. This includes the promotion of organizations, groups or people who have a history of violence and/or an agenda of hate.
Racist content or behavior and material designed to incite racism is not permitted. We define racism as either the hatred or intolerance of another race, or discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior, or a belief that all members of a racial group possess characteristics specific to that race, especially to distinguish it as being inferior.

Any future merchandise will only be created with the corresponding artist’s approval. Art made by the artists will not be changed in any way without their permission. Any promotional material will be subject to the artist’s approval.
All merchandise and In app purchases profits will be split 70/30. The artist will receive 70% of the profit while Kyascu receives 30% for the following:

The artist can also market the game if they choose to.
Website/Server costs
Formatting the images
Use of the “Stylized Fashion Game” template
Future App store costs
Expectations
Apart from the item minimums stated on guidelines, the content that the artist chooses to draw for each set will be solely up to them.
The amount of sets an artist draws is solely up to them.
Each artist invited by the Kyascu team can submit their work any time with no deadlines as long as they meet the guidelines.
Ethical Practises
We believe that ethical practices can nurture sustainability. We want Kyascu, Stylized, and our other endeavours to have a long shelf life in the fast world of digital content. We believe that adhering to this philosophy will benefit everyone with:
Maintaining a good reputation.
Improving the brand’s marketability.
Potential longevity if laws around technology change.
Preserving long time player support.
To do this, we have to be flexible with the feedback we receive from players and platform administrators. There are certain mechanics that we avoid to create a smooth gaming experience:
Loot boxes via IAP or paid currency
Excessive intrusive ads
We also recognise that not all dark patterns lead to an unethical game. We will strike to balance our content so that we do not contribute to the degrading reputation of casual games. Learn more about dark patterns here.

FAQs
Do I have to stick to my art style forever?
No, you can experiment with any art style.
Can I only draw girls in standing poses?
No, you can make an aesthetic with humans, non humans, objects, abstractions etc.
Can I collaborate on this collaboration?
If you find a third party to collaborate with on a certain set, then that is up to you. You may choose to split your 70% however you please. Your collaborator will also be subject to the same guidelines.
After mobile, will our games be published into other platforms?
We can consider this in the future. As of this moment, we are concentrating on the webgl and mobile applications.
Is there a limit to how many assets we can draw?
Yes, but it would be very hard for anyone to reach it even if they draw everyday (trust me, I tried).
Can I copy your assets in my art style?
Yes, as long as they stay within the Stylized game.
If you have anymore questions please send them to me and I will add them to the FAQ wall so that they can be easily referenced.
